TERMS & CONDITIONS 

1. The Booking of your travelling requirements:

Your contract is with Flo Travels Pvt Ltd. A contract exists between us when we have received your signed booking form and deposits. We can only accept booking form signed as this confirms that you and other people travelling with you accept our booking terms and conditions and are entering into the contract.

2. The deposit:

Upon completion of the signed booking form, a deposit of 40% of the total tour cost is to be paid to Flo Travels. 

3. Payments:

For the services contracted, 40% advance payment ('the deposit') should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis and the balance amount is to be received at the latest 45 days before your arrival in India. We hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as an advance payment, based on the nature of services and the time left for the commencement of the services. Apart from the above in some cases like special train journeys, hotel or resort bookings during the peak season (X-Mas, New Year) full payment is required to be sent in advance to the concerned suppliers (transporters, hotels, ....). 

4. Cancellations:

If you or any person travelling with you wish to cancel the confirmed arrangements, you must notify us in writing. The date of cancellation will be the one on which the notice is received by Flo Travels. As this incurs administrative cost and retention charges by hotel(s), the cancellation charges will apply, as follows : 

  • 15% of the total tour cost when cancellation is received more than 35 days prior to the date of arrival in India, 

  • 35 % of the total tour cost when cancellation is received between 34 and 21 days prior to the date of arrival in India,

  • 50 % of the total tour cost when cancellation is received between 20 and 14 days prior to the date of arrival in India,

  • 75 % of the total tour cost when cancellation is received between 17 and 7 days prior to the date of arrival in India,

  • 100 % of the total tour cost when cancellation is received less than 7 days prior to the date of arrival in India.

5. Refunds: 

If your travel to India has been compromised and/or had to be cancelled for any kind of reason (such as your late arrival or no presentaltion at your departure airport check-in counter, invalid travel documents, lack of visas and/or vaccination, etc...), you will be entitled to no refund whatsoever by Flo Travels. In the event of cancellation, for any reason whatsoever, incidental costs incurred by the traveler or any person traveling with him/her, such as costs for obtaining visas, travel documents and international flight tickets, vaccination costs, etc...) cannot be reimbursed by Flo Travels. Any procedure of refund, after the written request has been received by Flo Travels, will take at least 15 days to be processed. 

6. Complaints: 

If you are unhappy with any aspect of Flo Travels' arrangements while you are in India, you must address your complaint immediately to Flo Travels' local representative or Flo Travels using the contact telephone numbers provided to you. If the problem cannot be resolved locally and you wish to complain, full details must be sent to Flo Travels in writing within 30 days of your return. Failure to take either of these steps will deny Flo Travels the opportunity to resolve the problem immediately and investigate it properly. In consequence, this may affect your rights under this contract. Any disputes between clients and Flo Travels Pvt Ltd shall be governed by the exclusive jurisdiction of the Indian courts.

 

7. Passports & Visas:

To travel to India from overseas countries except for the citizens of Nepal & Bhutan, one needs a 06 months valid passport and a valid visa. Issuance of Passport and/or processing of visa remain the sole responsibility of the traveller and corresponding costs are not included in the tour. Flo Travels Pvt Ltd will not be liable if the traveller fails to do so and is refused entry onto any transport or into any country as a result. The traveller will be responsible for meeting any additional costs incurred because of such failure (including any fines, surcharges or other financial penalty imposed on Flo Travels).

8. Early Check-in / Late Check -out:

Please note that standard check-in / Checkout time in most hotels is 1200 Hrs. (IST). Therefore cost of early check-in or Late check-out is not included in the tour cost. We can always make a request for early check-in or late checkout if required but we do not guarantee that, that entirely depend upon the policy of the hotel, time of the year and availability of the room.

9. Rights to amend the itinerary if required

Tour once commenced will strictly go as per the itinerary finalized. In case of events and circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to change all or parts of the contents of the itinerary for safety and well being of our esteemed passengers.

10. Our Liability: 

Flo Travels accepts the liability for those arrangements for your holiday, which are wholly within our control and therefore, accept liability to clients for the negligence of our employees. However, we would like to draw attention to the following circumstances, which fall outside our direct control or where for some reason we are not prepared to accept liability.

The Company shall, in no circumstances whatsoever be liable to the client or any person travelling with him or her for: Any death, personal injury, sickness accidents, loss, delay, discomfort, increased expenses, consequential loss and / or damage or theft howsoever caused;

Any act, omission, default of any independent contractor or other person or by any servant or agents employed by them who may be engaged or concerned in the provision of accommodation, refreshment, carriage facility or service for the client or for any person travelling with him howsoever caused. Flo Travels are unable to take liability for commercial arrangements out of our control such as natural disasters, industrial disputes, reason of threat or war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activities, technical problems to the transport, extreme weather conditions, closure of the airports and sea ports and similar event out of our control, or are due to unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control.

11. General

The Contract and these Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Indian courts concerning any dispute, claim or other matter which may arise between us.
